2025 Sustainable Gardening Lecture Series
Every year, when the days are at their shortest, the weather looks the bleakest, and die-hard gardeners are out shoveling compost in the mud, wondering if the sun will EVER shine again, the Snohomish County Master Gardener Foundation hosts the annual Sustainable Gardening Winter Speaker Series. This year is the 22nd year we have been offering this lecture series!
The lecture series features eight celebrity gardeners, authors and subject matter experts sharing their knowledge on a variety of gardening subjects. Whatever the topic, they are always entertaining and educational. Plus they are SUCH a wonderful break from the winter doldrums!
The lectures are generally held every two weeks (exact scheduling depends on the speakers' availability) from the first Friday in January through early April. Each session runs from approximately 9:30 - 11:30am with a break mid-way.
We will be returning to the wonderful venue at the Everett Station (3201 Smith Avenue, Everett WA 98201) in the Weyerhaeuser Room on the 4th floor. This beautiful room, decorated with two giant murals, has a seating capacity of 200 and space for refreshments to be served.
Parking is available in a large lot on the east side of the railroad tracks, accessible from Hill Avenue off of Pacific Avenue.
Admission is by season pass sold between August and January. The price for a season subscription is $85.
Single tickets are $20 and may be purchased in advance on-line starting January 1st. Payment must be received no later than 6pm the Wednesday before the lecture. Single ticket sales may also be purchased at the door.
