He received his degree in Ornamental Horticulture – Nursery Management, from Edmonds Community College. An internship followed at Bourne End Nursery, Buckinghamshire, England, through Ohio State University.
John is a lifetime Washington Certified Nurseryman from the Washinton State Nursery Association. Over the years, they have won numerous awards at the Northwest Flower and Garden Show for their outstanding display gardens.
